Visions and Values

Vision:

“To express the love of God to the community of Clydebank through our love and worship of Jesus, and our love, care, and acceptance of one another”

Our purpose:

Win: To win the lost through evangelistic outreach and relationship.

Build: To build disciples through on-going discipleship and fellowship.

Send: To enable all to win people to Christ, through developing a culture of missional activities.

Our Values:

Jesus Christ is central to all that we are and do. Our relationships and ministries will flow from our relationship with Him.

The Bible is our guide in all ministry, relationships and lifestyle decisions.

In our relationships with God we will demonstrate lifestyles of worship, prayer, devotion, love, and discipleship as we seek to increase in our knowledge of God.

In our daily lives we will seek to be transparent, open, and honest in all things, leading lives of integrity that are faithful to our relationships with God, one another, and the community around us.

John 13:34-35, “A new commandment I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another”.

Acts 2:42-47, “The devoted themselves to the apostles teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favour of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved”.

Phil 2:3-5, “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others. Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus”.
